Charity auction of an “Ardbeg Blasda” whisky bottle supports the Army of Angels Association.
Released in 2008, Ardbeg Blasda created quite a storm, partly because only 1,800 bottles were allocated for the UK. This Ardbeg is lightly peated, 8ppm in a bottle, (Ardbeg 10 year old has 25ppm) so if you have never tried peated whisky this is an excellent place to start.
You’ll be drinking or collecting a limited release whisky that was designed for an adventure into the wonderful world of peaty whisky.
The Army of Angels UK Forces Charity provides direct and indirect support to serving and veterans in the British Armed Forces who have been injured mentally or physically while serving in conflicts. We also support their families and co-dependents.
Proceeds from this auction will be used to fund injured service personnel to visit their holiday home in Weymouth and that would cost around £300-£600 per family per week.
The shipping cost is not included as part of the final bid.
Please note identification may be required as part of the final bid due to the nature of the item.
This auction was made in partnership with Whisky Drams. Please note the starting bid amount of 190£ will be reserved for Whisky Drams, with the remaining amount raised to benefit Army of Angels.
