Registering is free and easy. To join eSolidar just click the ‘sign up’ button on the upper right hand corner of your screen. Fill in the fields required and create a username and password or connect to eSolidar through your Facebook account. Facebook connect is a quick and secure way to join eSolidar.

You can reset your password by selecting the option ´forgot your password?`. If you’re having difficulties please email info@esolidar.com

Yes. To change your current password log into your eSolidar account, click on your username in the top right hand corner of the webpage and then select ‘edit profile’ from the dropdown menu. From here you’ll be able to make the changes on the ‘Authentication’ menu. If you have any problems, email info@esolidar.com

Once signed in, you can click on your username in the top right hand corner of the webpage and then select ‘edit profile’ from the dropdown menu. Here you have the ability to change all of your settings.

PayPal is the trusted leader in online payments, enabling people to send and receive money online. PayPal has over 100 million member accounts in 190 countries and regions. It's accepted everywhere. PayPal is safe as it uses SSL technology to keep your information safe. In addition, when you send a payment using PayPal, the recipient won't receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number. This way, you don't have to worry about paying people you don't know. If you do not receive the item you indicated or your goods do not match the description provided, your purchase can be refunded through PayPal. PayPal provides effective solutions for splitting payments automatically between users and charities.

Gift Aid is a UK tax incentive that enables tax-effective giving by individuals to charities in the United Kingdom. Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, the charity chosen by you will receive an extra 25p from the government. To claim Gift Aid, the donation has to be made by an UK individual taxpayer, sole trader, or partnership. Gift Aid cannot be claimed by companies.

In order to create an online community to enhance growth and fundraising for charities, the Affiliate Programme allows any person to designate a charity to receive 1% of all sales conducted within a year. After you sign up, you will have access to a unique link to share with your network. When someone registers on our site with your link, 1% of all proceeds from that user will benefit a registered charity of your choice.

Charities must be registered with the government and have a mission that is not tied to hate, extremism or violence in any way. Sign up is free and we welcome all charities who meet the criteria to join.

Registered charities can export a store to a Facebook fanpage or embed it on their charities’ website. To do this, simply register, create a charity shop and click the option export store.

A charity auction is an event where goods or experiences are sold to the highest bidder in order to raise money and awareness for a charity or a charitable cause. The product or experience listed should be a unique and unforgettable item or experience that people can bid on through eSolidar’s platform. Auctions are always preapproved by our team. To run an auction simply register and click the option request an auction. Our team will answer as soon as possible.

To sell a product, purchase an item or bid on charity auctions you must have your phone number validated.
To verified your phone number:
When you make an action (sell a product, purchase an item or bid on charity auctions) will appear one box to verify your phone number
On Phone number field you must selected the country (area code) and add your phone number
Next click the button “Validate”
You will receive 4-digit code via text message (SMS)
Add the 4-digit code and click the button “Verify”
Once your phone number is validated a checkmark symbol will appear in front of your phone number

If you add the wrong validation code, you need to add the correct code sent by text message (SMS) and re-click the button “Verify”.

If you want change the phone number, after verified you must send an email to info@esolidar.com asking the changes that you want.

The text message (SMS) is free and don’t have any cost to the user.

Why verify?
Your phone number will be stored internally in case of need to contact you for product delivery and/or confirmation of the bid.

To support a charity by listing a product you must ensure:

1. You have a PayPal account;
2. Click ‘Add Item’ or ‘Start Selling’;
3. Select the charity that you wish to donate to;
4. Choose the portion you would like to donate;
5. Post your item and share on your social media.

Users can sell an item on behalf of a charity and choose to donate between 1% and 100% of their final sale price.

To purchase an item from a charity you just have to select charity shops and choose an item you wish to buy.

You can donate to charities registered with eSolidar if you both have a registered PayPal account.

After a purchase is made, the seller is alerted and is responsible for shipping the product to the buyer. If the buyer is unhappy with the purchase, you can settle the dispute with PayPal directly. PayPal is responsible for all refunds and returns in the event you are unhappy with a purchase made through eSolidar. If you chose other payment method you should send a message through the messages centre.

The user with the highest bid on the charity auction will win the special item or experience.

Each charity auction has a set timeframe that counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to the end of the auction. A bid placed within the final two minutes of an auction will reset the timer to provide an extra two minutes for others to make a final bid.

The starting bid is the lowest price that a charity auction can be sold for. If a charity or user provides an item or experience the starting bid is up to their discretion. If an item is acquired by eSolidar on behalf of the charity, the starting bid is determined by our team.

Once a bid has been placed, it cannot be retracted. If a user wins a charity auction, they must complete payment for an auction. This is stated in the terms and conditions that a user must accept before bidding. In the case of a user failing to pay, eSolidar and the charity/cause for which the amount raised is intended, reserve the right to take legal action against any act that puts into question the normal operation of it. The object will then be relisted and put up for auction again or offered to the second highest bidder.

The Contribution feature is the amount that a charity aims to raise with the auction. This function is recommended for charity auctions that are centred on a specific cause as it allows users to donate exclusively towards the cause without bidding specifically on the item or experience. In order to incorporate this function, charities must be registered on our platform and have a PayPal account.

eSolidar contacts auction winners with specific payment instructions and guidance.

If you win a charity auction, you will receive an email with payment instructions. We accept PayPal, credit and debit cards as well as bank transfers.

eSolidar ensures the authenticity of some objects auctioned on our site. Some items come directly from an accredited supplier or a charity with a direct connection to a celebrity. If a charity auction has a certificate of authenticity we will mention it on the auction description. If a charity or user provides an item or experience, they are entirely responsible for the content as well as the authenticity.

Postage costs vary from country to country. Unless otherwise stated postage is not included as part of the final bid.

The auction winner accepts the auction lot as described and shown in the photo-gallery. eSolidar does not assume any responsibility for damages incurred during delivery by the courier.

We work with several partners. Sometimes, businesses generously offer their items at a discounted price, which we purchase on behalf of charities. We generally set the starting bid at the price we paid for the product, and retain that amount to cover costs. Any money raised from the charity auction from the starting bid cost will go toward a designated charity, with a 20% service fee incurred. We charge a 20% service fee when we organise an auction on behalf of a charity. If a charity approaches us with a special item or experience, we take a 10% service fee to cover operating costs.
